Drive Mad

Drive Mad challenges you to conquer dangerous roads and gravity-defying stunts. Test your driving skills while using physics to solve puzzles.

Learn to Balance the Distance Delicately

  • Players must learn to tap and release the throttle instead of holding it constantly. Gently tap the throttle to maintain speed, and release it completely or brake lightly to adjust the tilt of the car.
  • The car is very sensitive to force and terrain, making it extremely difficult to balance over steep slopes, narrow bridges, or rotating obstacles, and often leading to humorous flips.
  • When the car is in the air (e.g., after jumping over a gap), players can use the throttle and brake, or sometimes just the rotation of the wheels, to adjust the angle of the car, ensuring that it lands on all four wheels to avoid flipping.
  • Slow down just before the wheels hit the ground to absorb the shock and keep the car from bouncing or flipping.

You will fail when

The game has no health bar, but the turn ends immediately if:

  • Flip: The car flips over and stops on its roof.
  • Fall: The car falls off the track or terrain.
  • Destroy: Colliding with a moving obstacle too hard can destroy the car.

The Combination of Driving and Puzzles

  • Most levels cannot be cleared on the first try. Players must experiment with different methods of accelerating, slowing down, and braking to find the sweet spot of speed and angle to clear.
  • Instead of jumping over a gap, you may need to hit an object at high speed to make it move, creating a bridge. Instead of going straight, you may have to go back a short distance to gain momentum for a climb.
  • In many cases, you pass the level not because you drive fast, but because you go slow and control every millimeter of the car's tilt.
