Flappy Bird

Surely many of us have heard the name Flappy Bird. This is a game that once caused a fever on the internet with simple rhythmic gameplay but made you crazy.

How to control the bird?

You only need to perform one operation:

  • Every time the player touches the screen, the bird will flap its wings and fly up a small distance, against gravity.
  • When the player does not touch, the bird will immediately fall due to gravity.

This game is really simple, so anyone can approach and play it immediately. The game does not need many complicated instructions or many buttons like Pizza Tower.

Pass the green pipes without touching them

The goal is to help the little bird fly as far as possible by passing through the gaps between pairs of green pipes.

  • The player just needs to lightly touch the screen; each touch will help the bird flap its wings to fly a short distance. If not touched, the bird will gradually fall due to gravity.
  • The green pipes are arranged in pairs, creating a small gap in the middle for the bird to fly through. The distance between the pipes and the height of the gap changes constantly, forcing the player to adjust the tapping rhythm accurately.
  • As soon as the bird touches the pipe or falls to the ground, the game ends immediately - there is no chance to correct the mistake.
  • Each time the player successfully flies through a pair of pipes, he will receive 1 point. The more pipes he passes, the higher the score, and the more it shows the player's ability to control and patience.
  • Although the goal is quite simple, players often make mistakes in seemingly the easiest parts due to losing focus or using too much force, making the game both frustrating and making people want to play again immediately.

Difficulty Comparison with Geometry Dash Meltdown

  • Geometry Dash Meltdown maintains the core gameplay of GD: a high-speed rhythm platformer. However, it is designed with only three levels, which is often considered to introduce more difficult mechanics (like gravity flips, rockets, etc.) in a free environment for new players.
  • Flappy Bird is the challenge of monotony and randomness; It tests your stability and focus in a repetitive mechanism.
