Happy Wheels

Happy Wheels is a horror ragdoll game with dangerous challenges. Players will need to learn how to balance their bicycles to go steadily through obstacles.

Getting Familiar with Happy Wheels' Physics and Ragdoll

Every action of the character and vehicle is affected by detailed physics. The player must constantly lean to maintain balance when moving on rough terrain, slopes, or when jumping.

When the character collides hard or gets caught in traps (such as spikes, mines, saw blades), the ragdoll physics effect will be activated. Body parts can be separated (lost arms, legs, heads), and the character will bleed. However, this violent element is handled in an exaggerated way and often causes laughter

Some Featured Levels in Happy Wheels

Obstacle Course? - classic obstacle course challenge.

This is the classic and most popular level in Happy Wheels, the game is used to test the player's basic skills.

The player must control the character to overcome a long series of traps and obstacles arranged in order. The goal is usually to reach the finish line with as little damage as possible.

These levels are famous for using most of the traps available in the Level Editor, including:

  • Spikes and Mines.
  • Swinging Hammers or Wrecking Balls.
  • Cliffs or narrow gaps that require precise jump timing and balance.

Gut Bus Extreme!

This level is famous for its extreme difficulty and high violence and horror, although it still has the game's signature humor.

The player usually controls a character in a moving vehicle but has to face a huge Bus and other objects that are activated to create collisions, crushing the character.

BMX_Park II - an extremely famous BMX racing scene.

This is one of the more technical levels, focusing on balancing and performing stunts.

Players can choose the character BMX Guy or Irresponsible Dad and have to control the bike through a skate park with many ramps, slides, and complex structures.

Basic Tips for Beginners

  • Uphill: Lean forward to maintain your center of gravity and avoid flipping over.
  • Downhill: Lean back to avoid falling forward and landing flat on your face.
  • Landing: After jumping or falling, quickly adjust your tilt to land on your wheels.
  • If you are sure that your vehicle is about to get stuck or destroyed by a spinning hammer or saw blade, press Z to eject yourself. It is often easier to roll over a dangerous area than to try to drive through it.
