Helix Jump

Helix Jump gives players a smooth motion feeling and realistic physical effects after each continuous jump, creating a relaxing and satisfying feeling.

Spiral Tower Level Structure and Platform Levels

Each level in Helix Jump revolves around two main structural elements:

Spiral Tower

  • The tower is a vertical pillar that takes up most of the screen space, extending from the top to the bottom.
  • This is the axis of rotation and is where the platform levels are attached, forming a spiral maze.
  • The player does not touch the tower, but rotates it by swiping the screen. Rotating the tower helps align the gaps for the ball to fall through.

Platform Levels

These levels are the main obstacles that the player must overcome.

  • Each level is a circular disc, divided into segments, and has gaps or cracks between the segments.
  • The levels are stacked on top of each other, but are placed at different rotation angles, forming a spiral.
  • The ball must fall through these gaps to reach the lower level. If the ball hits a solid part of the platform, it will bounce.

Platform Segments Classification

Platform segments are divided into two types, which determine the survival of the ball:

Operation Control Keys Purpose
Jump Spacebar or Up Arrow Jump over low obstacles like cacti.
Crouch Down Arrow Key Duck down to avoid low-flying obstacles (e.g., flying birds).
Run straight Dinosaur always runs automatically. Used when obstacles fly too high.

Level Structure Changes

As you fall deeper, the difficulty increases because:

  • The gap size may be narrower.
  • The number of Forbidden Zones on each platform floor may be more or more cunningly arranged.
  • The speed at which the ball falls or bounces may be faster, requiring faster reflexes.
  • The floors may have a more complex design (e.g., platform segments are closer together, making it difficult to create a long fall line).

Basic Control Rules

  •  You just need to turn left or right to direct the ball to avoid hitting the forbidden spots and jump down as fast as possible.
  • This will rotate the entire spiral tower, not move the ball.
  • Rotate the tower to create a path, and align the gaps of the platform levels so that the ball falls through.

Challenges that make it easy for you to end the game

  • Most platform levels have different colored patches (usually red or dark) called forbidden zones.
  • If the ball touches any forbidden zone, the game ends immediately.
  • You score points by helping the ball fall through the gaps and destroy regular platform pieces.

How to get high scores?

  • If you continuously fall through many consecutive platform levels (usually 3 or more) without touching any, the ball will become hot or invulnerable for a short time.
  • When the ball is in an invulnerable state, it can destroy the red forbidden zones as it passes through, allowing you to continue falling safely and score higher.
