Suika Game

Suika Game is a fruit-matching game to create a giant watermelon. Your task is to drop the fruits into the box and put them together to create a bigger fruit.

Fruit Combination Chain

When two fruits of the same type touch each other, they turn into the next larger fruit in the chain. A standard fruit chain usually goes like this:

  • Cherry
  • Strawberry
  • Grape
  • Dekopon
  • Persimmon
  • Apple
  • Pear
  • Peach
  • Pineapple
  • Melon
  • Watermelon

Each successful combination earns you points. The higher the score, the larger the fruit.

Understanding Dynamic Physics

  • Fruits are elastic. They do not stand still, but can bounce, roll, and collide with each other, especially when there is a force from a new fruit falling or when a combination occurs.
  • When two fruits combine into a larger fruit, the new larger fruit that is created pushes the fruits around it. This can cause a chain reaction, causing other fruits to combine with each other, bringing big bonus points, or conversely, pushing the fruits dangerously high.

Fruit Placing and Space Management Strategy

  • The basic strategy is to try to keep the largest fruits at the bottom and the smaller fruits at the top. This makes it easier for the smaller fruits to roll into each other and combine without getting stuck.
  • Focus on dropping fruits of the same type into the same area (e.g., the left corner) to easily create combinations.
  • Avoid creating a large fruit stuck in a high position, unable to combine with other fruits of the same type. This will take up valuable space and easily lead to Game Over.
  • Many professional players use the strategy of arranging the fruits from large to small in a fixed order (e.g., Pineapple, Peach, Pear, Apple...) from left to right at the bottom of the box.
